Description

The 420/85R28 (16.9R28) SWT Agricultural Tyre is a high-performance radial tractor tyre from India, designed for modern agricultural machinery requiring reliable traction, stability and long service life. Its 420/85R28 metric sizing is equivalent to the traditional 16.9R28 size, making it suitable for a wide range of tractors using this common rear-axle tyre specification.

Built for demanding agricultural conditions, the tyre features a strong radial construction that helps provide a larger and more consistent footprint, improving traction while reducing soil disturbance. The deep agricultural tread is designed to deliver dependable grip when working across farmland, muddy fields, loose soil and unpaved surfaces, while providing good road stability when tractors are travelling between fields.

The tubeless construction eliminates the need for an inner tube and, when correctly fitted to a compatible tubeless-rated rim, can provide improved heat dissipation and reduced risk of tube-related failures. The robust casing is designed to withstand the heavy loads and operating stresses associated with tractors and agricultural implements.

The SWT 420/85R28 is a practical choice for farmers and agricultural contractors looking for a durable radial tractor tyre that can handle both fieldwork and road transportation.
