1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return or exchange if:

  • The product delivered is damaged, defective, or faulty

  • You received the wrong tyre size, specification, brand, or model

  • The product has a verified manufacturing defect

  • The item does not match the product description on Automarket.co.ke

Important:
Products that have been used, fitted, installed, or altered are not eligible for return, unless a confirmed manufacturing defect is identified.


2. Return Request Period

  • All return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery

  • Requests submitted after 7 days will only be handled under manufacturer warranty terms, where applicable

This policy applies to all automotive products sold on Automarket.co.ke, including car tyres, tractor tyres, batteries, filters, and accessories.


3. Conditions for Acceptable Returns

To qualify for a return, the product must:

  • Be unused and in original condition

  • Be returned in original packaging, including labels, manuals, and accessories

  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or order number)

Excluded Products

Consumable items such as engine oils, lubricants, chemicals, waxes, and fluids are non-returnable unless delivered defective or damaged.


4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Products purchased under clearance, discounted, or special offers (unless defective)

  • Custom-ordered or special-request tyres and accessories

  • Items damaged due to incorrect installation, misuse, overloading, or poor handling

  • Products altered after delivery


5. Return, Replacement & Refund Process

To initiate a return:

  • A refund will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method


6. Shipping & Return Costs

  • If the return is due to an Automarket error (wrong item, damaged, or defective product), we cover all return shipping costs

  • If the return is due to customer error (wrong order, change of mind, incompatibility), return shipping costs are borne by the customer


7. Warranty Claims

Some automotive products, including tyres and batteries, come with manufacturer warranties.

  • Warranty claims are handled strictly in line with manufacturer terms and conditions

  • Normal wear and tear, misuse, or incorrect installation are not covered
