Description

Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating is an easy-to-use spray-on ceramic coating designed to provide vehicle paintwork with high gloss, enhanced colour depth, water-beading performance and durable protection. The product shown is the 500ml trigger-spray bottle from the Hybrid Solutions range.

The formula combines synthetic wax polymers with SiO₂ (silicon dioxide) technology, creating a highly hydrophobic protective layer over the vehicle’s exterior surfaces. Turtle Wax states that the product provides chemical resistance and hydrophobic protection for up to 12 months, depending on application and conditions.

Ceramic Protection and Hydrophobic Performance

The SiO₂-based formulation is designed to create a hydrophobic surface that causes water to bead and run off more readily. This can help the vehicle remain cleaner between washes and make routine maintenance easier.

The coating also provides a protective barrier against environmental contaminants and chemical exposure while enhancing the visual appearance of the vehicle’s paintwork. Turtle Wax specifically describes the product as providing shine and protection for paint, metal, plastic and glass surfaces.

High-Gloss Finish

Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating uses synthetic wax polymers to enhance the depth of colour, gloss and overall shine of the vehicle. It is therefore suitable both as a protective product and as a finishing step following washing and detailing.

It can be particularly useful for maintaining the appearance of newly polished vehicles or vehicles whose owners want additional protection without using a traditional professionally applied ceramic coating.

Easy Spray-and-Wipe Application

One of the main advantages of this product is its relatively simple application process. Turtle Wax recommends washing and drying the vehicle first, then spraying approximately 2–3 mists onto a 2 × 2 ft section, spreading the product with a microfiber cloth and buffing with a clean side of the cloth to achieve the final shine.

For maximum protection and additional gloss, Turtle Wax recommends allowing the first application to cure for 24 hours before applying a second coat.

How to Use

Thoroughly wash and dry the vehicle.
For best results, remove stubborn contaminants such as tar, insects and other bonded deposits before application.
Shake the bottle well.
Work on one small section at a time.
Spray approximately 2–3 mists onto the surface.
Spread the coating evenly using a clean microfiber cloth.
Turn the cloth to a clean, dry side and buff to a high-gloss finish.
Continue panel by panel around the vehicle.
Allow the coating to cure for approximately 24 hours before applying a second coat.
