The product shown is the 500ml Turtle Wax Carnauba Wax, formulated with Brazilian Carnauba wax and polishing technology for enhanced shine and longer-lasting protection. Turtle Wax describes the product as providing a smooth, glass-like finish while helping correct light surface imperfections.

Paint Protection & Gloss

Turtle Wax Carnauba Wax is designed to leave a protective layer over the vehicle’s exterior paintwork after application. The combination of Carnauba wax and polishing technology helps enhance the depth and clarity of the paint while providing a smooth protective finish.

Turtle Wax states that the formulation can also correct light scratches and swirls, making it useful as part of a routine paint-maintenance process. For deeper scratches or heavily oxidised paint, a dedicated rubbing compound or scratch-repair product should be used before waxing.

Applications

Turtle Wax Carnauba Wax can be used on compatible automotive exterior surfaces, including:

Cars and SUVs
Pickups and light commercial vehicles
Metallic and conventional automotive paint
Clear-coat finishes
Painted exterior body panels
Suitable chrome and bright metalwork

Turtle Wax also indicates that its Carnauba Wax can be used on suitable non-porous surfaces such as headlights, chrome accents and bright metalwork when appropriate.

How to Use

Wash the vehicle thoroughly and towel dry.
Make sure the paintwork is cool, clean and dry.
Shake the bottle well before application.
Apply a small amount to a foam applicator or clean microfiber cloth.
Work on approximately 2 × 2 ft sections at a time using overlapping circular motions.
Allow the wax to dry to a light haze.
Wipe the residue away with a clean microfiber towel.
Turn the cloth to a clean side and lightly buff to reveal the high-gloss finish.

For best results, avoid applying the product to hot paintwork or in direct sunlight. Turtle Wax also recommends working one section at a time for an even finish.
