Description

The 12.4-28 BKT agricultural tyre in Kenya is designed to deliver strong traction, durability, and reliable field performance for tractors and farming equipment. Manufactured in India by BKT (Balkrishna Industries Limited), a globally trusted agricultural tyre brand, this tyre is engineered to handle demanding farm operations across different soil conditions.

Built with an 8-ply rating, the tyre offers enhanced load-carrying capacity and resistance to punctures, cuts, and wear. Its robust bias construction ensures strength and flexibility, allowing it to perform efficiently in both field and transport applications. The deep lug tread pattern provides excellent grip and traction, making it ideal for ploughing, tilling, and other agricultural activities.

The tread design features wide and deep lugs that improve soil penetration and self-cleaning properties. This helps prevent mud buildup, ensuring consistent traction even in wet or loose soil conditions. The tyre also provides good stability and control, reducing slippage and improving fuel efficiency during operations.

BKT tyres are known for their long service life, and the 12.4-28 size is no exception. Its durable rubber compound promotes even wear and extended lifespan, making it a cost-effective solution for farmers looking for reliability and performance.

Suitable for Agricultural Applications

The 12.4-28 BKT tyre is ideal for tractors used in ploughing, planting, spraying, and general farm operations. It is commonly fitted on rear tractor wheels and is suitable for small to medium-sized farms.

Deep Lug Design for Maximum Traction

The aggressive tread pattern ensures strong grip on soft, muddy, and uneven terrain. Its self-cleaning design helps maintain traction by preventing soil accumulation between the lugs.

Durable 8-Ply Construction

The 8PR construction provides strength and durability, allowing the tyre to handle heavy loads and tough agricultural environments with reduced risk of damage.
