Description

The 245/45ZR18 Goddard Transforce 300 is a high-performance passenger car tyre from Goddard, manufactured in China and designed for drivers looking for a combination of responsive handling, high-speed stability, ride comfort and dependable everyday performance. The tyre shown is marked 245/45ZR18 100W XL, making it an Extra Load tyre with a W speed rating suitable for vehicles engineered for higher-speed road use. The Transforce 300 is offered in this exact specification by Goddard.

Its 245 mm tread width provides a broad contact patch with the road, helping deliver confident grip during acceleration, braking and cornering. The 45-series profile gives the tyre a sporty appearance while maintaining a balance between handling response and driving comfort. The tread pattern features continuous circumferential ribs and directional-looking grooves that help maintain road contact while providing channels for water evacuation during wet-weather driving.

The ZR designation indicates a tyre designed for high-speed applications, while the 100W service description indicates a load index of 100 and a maximum speed rating of 270 km/h, subject to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications and appropriate operating conditions. The XL (Extra Load) construction provides a higher load capacity than a standard-load tyre of the same size, making it suitable for vehicles that require the additional load rating.

The Transforce 300 is particularly suitable for premium sedans, executive cars, performance-oriented vehicles and other passenger cars using the 245/45ZR18 specification. The exact vehicle fitment should always be confirmed against the manufacturer’s recommended tyre size, load index and speed rating before installation.

Goddard tyres are produced by Zhongyi Rubber Co., Ltd. in Shandong, China. The GODDARD trademark is registered for automobile tyres and pneumatic tyres, supporting the brand’s identification as a tyre manufacturer.
