Description

The 365/85R20 Pirelli PS22 Pista is a heavy-duty radial off-road tyre designed for demanding applications where traction, durability and structural strength are essential. The tyre shown is marked 365/85R20, Pirelli PS22 Pista, with a 164G load and speed rating and tubeless construction.

The PS22 Pista is part of Pirelli’s specialist S02 Pista range developed for extreme off-road and mixed-terrain conditions. Pirelli’s technical documentation lists the 365/85R20 size with a 164G rating and M+S/POR marking, making it suitable for specialised off-road use across difficult terrain.

Its pronounced, widely spaced tread blocks are designed to provide strong traction on loose and inconsistent surfaces, including mud, sand, grass and unpaved tracks, while the tread design also allows the tyre to operate on asphalt when required. Pirelli describes the Pista design as having large contact surfaces, reinforced connections between tread blocks and an S-shaped tread arrangement aimed at balancing traction, durability and on-road behaviour.

Traction and Off-Road Performance

The aggressive tread pattern provides substantial tread contact and open spaces between the blocks to help maintain traction when operating on mud, sand, grass, loose ground and rough tracks. The substantial tread blocks are also designed to withstand demanding off-road conditions.

Durability

The Pista design incorporates bridges between tread blocks to reduce tread stress and support durability during demanding operation. This makes the PS22 Pista particularly relevant for applications where tyres are exposed to uneven terrain and repeated traction loads.

The 365/85R20 Pirelli PS22 Pista can be considered for specialised vehicles and equipment requiring this exact tyre specification, including:

Heavy-duty off-road vehicles

Published listings also identify the PS22 Pista as suitable across all axles, subject to the vehicle manufacturer’s requirements.

Important: Tyre fitment should always be confirmed against the vehicle manufacturer’s specified tyre size, axle position, load requirement, rim specification and operating conditions before purchase.
