Description

Turtle Wax Super Hard Shell Finish Original Car Wax is a classic liquid car wax designed to clean, shine and protect automotive paintwork. The 500ml bottle shown in the supplied images is the original liquid-wax formulation, rather than the newer spray version. Turtle Wax identifies the Original Car Wax as the product line that helped establish the brand’s liquid car-wax range.

The formula provides a traditional Hard Shell Finish while delivering a glossy appearance and durable protection against everyday environmental exposure. The product is also enriched with carnauba wax, which contributes to the depth and gloss of the finished surface.

Paintwork Protection

Regular waxing helps provide a protective layer between the vehicle’s paint and everyday environmental contaminants. Turtle Wax describes the Super Hard Shell Finish as providing durable protection and a hard-shell shine, while its carnauba-enriched formulation helps produce a rich, glossy finish.

The product is suitable for both newer and older vehicles and can be used as part of a regular exterior detailing routine. For heavily oxidised, scratched or neglected paintwork, a suitable paint cleaner or restorative polish may be required before waxing.

Applications

Turtle Wax Super Hard Shell Finish Original Car Wax can be used on suitable automotive exterior surfaces including:

Car paintwork
SUV and pickup paintwork
Van and light commercial vehicle paint
Clear-coated automotive finishes
Smooth painted metal surfaces
Suitable chrome and non-porous exterior surfaces

It is particularly useful after washing when the vehicle owner wants to restore gloss while adding a protective wax layer.

How to Use

Wash and thoroughly dry the vehicle.
Shake the bottle well before use.
Work on one small panel at a time.
Apply a small amount of wax to a clean applicator pad or microfiber cloth.
Spread the wax over the surface using overlapping circular motions.
Allow the product to dry to a light haze.
Remove the haze with a clean microfiber or cotton cloth.
Turn the cloth to a clean side and buff the surface to reveal a high-gloss finish.

For best results, apply the wax to a clean, cool surface. Avoid applying it unnecessarily to porous plastic or rubber trim.
